A towering mass of thorns and husks, the Cacteri roams the sun-scorched wilds without purpose. Mistaken for a cactus, it is a construct powered by a sentient bloom born of magical experiments. The flower that secretes psychoactive fluid to animate its plant-based body.
Though passive by nature, it reacts violently when disturbed, unable to discern friend from foe. Its core fluid, hidden beneath the bloom, is a rare alchemical prize making the Cacteri ideal for strange desert encounters, black market storylines, or arcane mysteries. Though the creature is not evil, it endlessly pursued by characters with many ulterior motives. Its presence brings tension and danger wherever it drifts.
