Gruesome and blood-drenched, the Body Butcher is a hulking aberration that stalks the edges of settlements and camps, waiting for isolation and fear to take hold. Their forms are draped in gore and and severed limbs dangling from belts, pinned across their chest, and hanging like grim jewelry showing off each of their recent kills. They carry massive cleavers and cruel knives, but it is their collection that marks their horror. Each limb tells a story of precision, practice, and a relentless obsession with the art of dismemberment.
A butcher chooses its prey with care, tracking it through night and rain, ignoring all other targets until the current hunt ends. When a victim finally is within reach, once the creature severs a trophy it goes on its way never looking back. Their flesh is pierced with rusted pins that hold their grisly implements in place, acting as a grotesque parody of a warrior’s pride.
Body Butchers make perfect predators for horror adventures or wilderness hunts. Their pursuit can stretch across sessions, turning each rest into a test of players' nerves and preparedness. When used in pairs or groups, their rivalry creates tension and chaos with each butcher seeking to prove their superiority through their trophies making for a more anxious chase. Bring a butcher to any setting to introduce a new level of fear and danger.
