A shimmer in the clouds, a twist of silver mist, then suddenly a storm! Skystalkers are not merely serpents of the sky, but also fey tricksters whose races and games unleash chaotic storms on the world around them. Adventurers who take to the air may find themselves challenged to compete in feats of speed while being tugged at by unseen winds and shocked by lightning splitting across the sky. At home in almost any environment, skystalkers can grasp and perch on clouds as if they are solid objects giving them nesting grounds wherever clouds may exist. Beware, challenging them in their own domain is not for the faint of heart.
For dungeon masters, the skystalker can transform encounters. Perfect for harassing skyships, creating hidden islands in the clouds, clever challenges around mountains, or even an introduction to a playful adversary gliding to the ground looking for a challenger to race with. Skystalkers though intimidating, can become friendly rivals to worthy opponents and will demand increasingly difficult contests as they return for the rush of the next race!
