Wherever the runoff of magic and refuse mingle, Miasmiria take form. They are foul, living gases drifting, formless, and filled with an attraction to rot and heavy odours. Their presence is always heralded by the unbearable stench of decay and waste.

Unable to see or hear, a Miasmiria senses only through odour, drawn inexorably to the foulest scents.They haunts garbage pits, plague wards, and even abandoned kitchens, anywhere filth festers.

For Dungeon Masters, the Miasmiria is a terrifying encounter for urban or subterranean campaigns. Use them to represent the corruption of a city, the cruelty of neglect, or the physical manifestation of pestilence itself. They serve well as omens of larger threats or tragic symbols of the forgotten poor, marking anything they touch attracting more of them as they swarm on the vile scents.
